Prior to joining Exeter, Mark served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Sallie Mae Solutions. Under Mark's leadership, Sallie Mae Solutions became a higher education market leader in the ERP systems and outsourcing offerings.
Prior to Sallie Mae Solutions, Mark co-founded and managed Exeter Educational Management Systems, a spin-off of Exeter Group focused on the design and development of higher education student administrative systems. Mark was responsible for all aspects of Exeter Educational Management Systems and grew the firm to over 100 customers worldwide. Exeter Educational Management Systems was sold to Sallie Mae Solutions in 1999.
Mark holds a BA in Political Economy from Williams College.
